My name is David Arends, and I am running for Montana House District 18 Representative.
I am married to Jane, have three grown children, and am a proud grandpa. I serve as Physician Assistant at Logan Health, and it has been a privilege to tend to the needs of the people of this community for more than 15 years.
Music and performing arts have always been dear to my heart. In my free time, I volunteer in various capacities, such as leading the Conrad Community Choir and working with the Pondera Players in multiple theater productions. We are also members and regulars at First Presbyterian Church in Conrad.
My family and I are blessed to call Montana our home!

The communities in our district are places of warmth and care, and they deserve the resources that will enable them to grow.
As we have spent the last few months carefully listening to the citizens of our district, it has become clear that people are worried about our struggling towns. We are concerned that our schools lack essential resources to improve and expand student services. We are also concerned about the decline of honesty, accountability, and civility in our politics.
These are important issues that demand our attention and require our participation. Getting the right people elected to office is critical, and ultimately, lasting change occurs when we all get involved and stay engaged.
We are a movement of community members working hand in hand to advance opportunities where everyone will thrive. Together, we will introduce and implement legislative policies that will help make this vision a reality across House District 18.
